The following review written by one of the Software Informer contributors applies to version 2.2
TV is an online streaming TV application for Windows. It allows you to watch a variety of TV channels on your computer. Most of these channels are accessible via any web browser, but they are listed here for easy access.
There are two versions of this application. The free version allows you to watch several channels, but there is no support for webcams or premium channels. The free version also "welcomes" you with a voice message from the developer of the application asking you to upgrade to the pro version and telling you how easy it is.
In the free version, the channels are all listed on the right of the application, and a video player appears on the left. The player seems to use the Windows Media Player components. The channels are arranged and grouped so that you can easily find them. When you first launch the application, you can open channels by selecting a genre or a region. I like that channels are grouped by language, type of channel, and then by region. The free version of this app doesn't have many channels, in comparison to other tools. I didn't find some of the most popular live news channels. Most of the channels worked, but some returned errors and some didn't open at all. The ones that I tried seemed to be live.
